The Tsimane Pluma Lodge is strategically located below the junctions of the upper Pluma and the Itirizama directly on the Pluma River. The lodge consists of an attractive main house and four wooden houses with their own bathrooms, each for two persons. The lodge is equipped with a generator. There is hot water and WiFi. The kitchen serves you daily, with a wonderful flair, Argentinean and local food.

Below the lodge, the Pluma River offers many kilometers of crystal clear water and first-class fishing for Golden Dorado. Guests can also take the motorboat to the much larger Secure River. Its lower river area is considerably wider, and the fishing here is much more like fishing on a salmon or steelhead river. There is also the possibility to spend one or three days in a very simple camp directly on the upper Pluma or on the Itrizama.

These excursions are the ultimate jungle experience and offer unforgettable fishing for Dorado and Pacu. The Pluma Lodge offers its guests access to 4 different river systems with over 60 km of first class water for fly fishing. You always fish with another fisherman, accompanied by an experienced guide and a local assistant.

If you fish for the Pluma or the Itirizama, you can go directly from the lodge in a canoe. If you fish the Secure, you will be driven in an off-road vehicle for around 45 minutes through the jungle to the meeting point with your boat driver. At the lower Secure, the water is mostly murky, and fishing is similar to fishing for salmon or steelhead. This is where the highest number of fish caught often comes from. The other rivers become clearer the higher you go, and the fishing for very large Golden Dorados and Pacus is excellent. Even if the canoe is often used, you will spend a lot of time wading from the shore. This really is a top class Dorado destination!
